Maybe in the future I'll write a better intro, but for now, this ancient shenanigans seems good enough.

i write about pretty much anything here, most often things vaguely political or going on locally.

for the curious, the pseudonym keryx (that's care-ICKS, not "CARRY-x") is the Greek singular of kerykes (which i'm not sure works as a non-collective-noun... hey, there aren't any ancient Greeks here to bitch), the family of priests responsible for introducing the mysteries of persephone. it's not a religion i partake of, but the idea of a sacred responsibility for loudness appeals to me. it's like being the MC of knowledge and change.

and the current title, at the top of my page, is from this Nietzsche quote:
