I want a hula hoop. It's been ages since I used one, and I recall really liking it. Can I just buy a hula hoop at a toy store these days?

You can, but it might be too small. I am kinda jonesin' for one too, but the ones I've seen marketed to adults are expensive and the kids' ones tend to be little and flimsy.

I was playing with one at Zellers (Canadian store similar to Target) the other day - in the store. Heh. I'm a big girl and the "kids'" hoops seemed decent, though. And only $5 or so! I shoulda got one.. damn.

How kid-sized is a kid's one? I don't even know. They seemed huge when I was little, but then... I was little when I was little.
