i signed up for your text message for this?

Please give me a reason to be excited about an Obama-Biden ticket.

Cause it kinda sounds like "Obama for change! ...that looks astoundingly like the status quo!" - and while that makes a clever t-shirt, it doesn't get me jazzed about the campaign.

He totally went for BORING.

TOTALLY. As long as all he does is funerals and bland state events.

He drank the Kool-Aid.

They made him an offer he couldn't refuse.

There's one incontrovertible reason to be excited about an Obama/Biden ticket.

John McCain.

You live in a key swing state. Do you want things to be worse than they were under Bush, or a marginal amount better? Yes, those are your only two choices. Why do you ask?

I didn't say I wouldn't vote for marginally better. But I was all psyched about this campaign. And now. Meh. Whatever.

I think it's OK - he's not going to be a Cheney-style veep, he's going to be a warm-bucket-of-spit veep. Funerals of foreign dignitaries!

As long as that's ALL he does. He's nice and dignified in a suit.
