When I was kindof freaking what I called "a less that satistisfying life" (gah, sometimes I still sound like I'm 13) last week... I actually didn't know who to call first.

And this weekend, when I made my spreadsheet and realized oh shit, I really do want to move, I had cutegaychick to drive me around the city and remind me that I had peeps. Plus, arovd made me a hotdog with chips on it!

And today, snidegrrl has posted a series of illuminated mix tape covers by me, ca. 1988.

words of the week - regional colloquialisms

Did y'all know that people in the delta south don't say "y'all"? They totally say "ya'll"!

Sure, it sounds and means the same, but I think they're talking about ya all while we are clearly speaking of you all.

My next contribution is pure Richmond, though: happier that a dead pig in a thunderstorm (there's also a variant with hail). It's old school, from the people who bring you Henwrecker Coat-has Road.
