I read, awhile ago, a story about a woman who took a photo of herself every day. When the shrinking thing started to freak me out a couple of months ago, I thought I'd try a monthly photo (daily seemed like something that might get weird, or lead to me becoming exceptionally involved with my appearance or something).

I'm not really sure what I was/am after with this, but the interesting thing is that I'm wearing nearly the same exact outfit in all three photos so far, and the room looks the same, with varying configurations of cats and laptops. The result is a feeling of continuity that I like.

i think i may have already mentioned this before, but there was a guy online who did the daily pictures, but he ended up putting them into a running slide show so you could actually watch him shrink/bulk up.

of course his goal was very different from yours, as yours seems to be seeing how much you stay the same.

I'm reminded by your story of this, which I think is just about seeing howmuch your status as 'frightening' changes.

A friend of mine did the taking photos of herself more or less daily for a year or more.
