words of the week.
May. 5th, 2006 11:38 pmI've been thinking about words more than usual lately (people keep asking me to define them, spell them, et cetera). And I have decided to temporarily institute a thing where you tell me cool words.
They don't have to be in English nor do they have to be vocabulary-expanding (sometimes words just taste and sound good to people, and that always interests me), but they do have to fit the theme of my whim.
This week's theme: time. Go to!
My word(s):
1) antemeridian (morning, generally adjective but a functional noun, too - it's AM, but few people actually say it)
2) postprandial (after lunch, an adjective)
