summer is mine, all mine!

I'm a little sunburnt and sitting outside having a smoke, just like I did last year when the weather was warm and heavy like this.

Except. I have a glass of cold water infused with tasty stuff, and a little piece of chocolate. And I had the sense to put on a kurta and some pantaloons, so tomorrow I will not awaken to mosquito bites everywhere.

Also. I am not crying. It's a whole new summer!

This weekend: nice relaxing Friday afternoon (ah, finally this week stops sucking), chill Friday night training, fabulous Saturday morning, Spamalot! a surprising taste for Chinese food, OMG AWESOME Sunday morning training, afternoon at the pool, nap, and now this. Have watched 3 movies and one episode of West Wing in my untold hours of solo leisure time. Props to cutegaychick and riotkat, who played a large role in weekend of most excellent quality, and to snidegrrl who unfortunately did not. And to missmeridian who is now 30! Happy birfday!

Again, thanks so much for drawing me out of my routine. I had a fabulous time wandering around the mall and getting all sniffly about how nice the world is. Yeah, yeah, the world is also shitty in many ways. But there are lots of nice things.
