I am not a survivor of sexual violence.

I am lucky.

I've been debating since this popped up last night whether I'd write about this, and what. I don't know anyone who doesn't know someone who has survived a rape or other sexual violation. Everyone I know has felt the weird gendered pressure of "how sex is supposed to be". Every woman I know is afraid sometimes, and angry.

I thought about writing out the things I think are wrong and what we should do about them. But. There is a time to talk about solutions. This is time to listen to those of you who have stories to tell.

For all of you who are telling these stories, those I know and those I don't, thank you. And we will change this.
