My voice is mysteriously shifting in and out of existence. Also I am tired and I have a cough.

Is birthday! Argh! Well, tomorrow, but we are well within the all things must go right birthday week bounds here.

So please wish me health and all the clementines and soup money can buy. Sigh. Am debating whether to attempt the doctor or not - you always have to wonder whether it's worth a) the cost and b) the exposure to other people's sick, which might be worse than yours.

Someone tell me, before I decide whether to comment, whether this person is a known troll? I consider it entirely possible that someone wouldn't grasp what objectification is, but the post just seems disingenuous, like they're trawling for strippers to harrass. I'd hate to mock in error, though.

Also, for those of you keeping track, the LJ post-by-web window has been redone to re-size properly, at least on some screens.

I thought the stripper post was genuine, but it really is hard to tell because the feminist community seems to be troll grand central somedays.

Hope you feel better! There are all kinds of nasty colds going around right now and I am trying to dodge them. I'd send clementines if I could.

She's only 20 years old (and a couple of her icons are feminist) -- I think she's probably genuine. I don't have time to talk to her, but in general I think it's preferable to educate newbies even if sometimes they are trolls, than to flame suspected trolls who turn out to just be newbies.

(Provided that one has the energy, that is!)

I just finished with one of those nasty colds. No fun at all! My throat was wicked sore for a week. I think if it's just a cold, though, there's nothing a doctor can really do for it. :-( Tea and lemon...

arg. stoopid cold for me, too. i got one two weeks ago and thought i was done for the fall, but now my throat is all scratchy and it's back to tomato soup for me. it might possibly be due to the fact that i smoked approx. all the ciggies in the world last weekend due to visit to ye olde grad school. it was like homecoming, but with more beer.

also. i cried while driving down there, not because of 6.5 years of hate, but because the one-two punch of "shot heard 'round the world" and that eminem song ["lose yourself"?] got me all verklempt. hormones are just great, thanks.
