dance planning and such

keryxSo. No tribal-friendly dance class has appeared in town yet and the couple people I know are slow getting involved. Starting up a practice group is going to take a little while.
But, there are still conventions and workshops!
Here's what I'm considering in 2005:
April 15-17 Spirit of the Tribes @ FT Lauderdale
(may end up too expensive and too weird if I go alone, but with other peeps? am particularly intrigued by unmata's hula thing and the other wacky fusion peeps)
At DC Tribal and therefore a short drive:
April 30 Spark Tour
July 29-31 FCBD/Devyani (sooooo looking forward to this one)
September 17-18 Suhaila
June 11-26 World Arts West @ San Francisco
(just looks like a cool show, no classes or anything, in the event it fits in with our Hawai'i/San Francisco plans)
At Sahara Dance
February 18 Turbo Tabla rhythm thing
August 13-14 Rachel Brice (at American University, and also one I particularly want to go to)
Those of you who know more of such things, am I missing anything? I won't have much money to travel on before March, so I left out some of the interesting stuff going on early in the year.
