A strong, self-assured woman. I friended you initially because I was looking for information and people involved in the fat acceptance movement, believe it or not.

I thought you were very intelligent, but did not think we would mesh on a political or personal level. While I still don't always agree with you politically, you've proved me dead wrong on both counts and are one of my favorite lj friends to whom I would turn for guidance on all types of issues.

I so wish I could remember back that far. I was so terrified when I came to that school I was just happy that anyone would talk to me. Also, you seemed smart, I am sure, to me. ;)

I friended you because you were a friend of my first friend(the person who gave me my acct.) or one of their friends. I did not do this with many of their friends, but there were two and you were one. The reason I friended you was because you spoke about things I think about and I'm very entertained by your posts. By that I mean that they are well written and easy to read and enjoy if you can relate, which I feel I can. You've got style :-)

I was intimidated by you because you seemed smart and sassy (as in too smart and sassy to want to have anything to do with me). I was also jealous because you were my friend's friend. Then I realized you were pretty cool and that vibe has stuck for a long time since then. :)

err, not really. i don't actually remember my very first impression of you, but my early impressions: artsy hipster little smart sassy bitchy purple annoyed (not annoying) clove-smoking musical-theatre-loving chick.
