It's really hard to imagine Dworkin as dead. Or as a real person one could simply talk to. She's that much of an icon.

I have never had powerful reactions in support of or against her, not like many others have. But she talked about things people couldn't talk about. And even if she did that in a language that confused the system and the individual, in a language that created the belief that feminists were - well, a little batty - she also inspired pretty much all of radical feminism.

So. Good journey, Dworkin.

I have to go back to being overwhelmed and focused on work now. I'd meant to do some work at home yesterday, and I slept pretty much all day instead.
