I don't care if I can't use a toy hula hoop to save my life (and possibly am therefore no good at hooping in general) and most hooping people are on the other side of an imaginary dirty hippie line from me, I want this Hawai'ian print badass hula hoop [bottom of the page].

But I'm trying not to buy anything I don't absolutely need for now. There's really no definition of need that includes hula hoops.

What if you had some sort of disease that could only be defeated through some sort of hula-hoop-derived serum? Didn't think of that.

It was nice being so little that a hula hoop could also act as a jumprope. :)

I've learned from the hooper peeps that in fact, you should have a hula hoop big enough to be jumpropeesque for you. So there, now you want a giant hula hoop, too.

Actually, I guess it depends on how wide you are as much as on how tall you are. But people do make hula hoops that are 6' or more in diameter.

Plenty of peeps take dance classes for ages and never perform. Definitely no requirement for getting on stage (or out in a cheesy restaurant) and shaking it.
