fruitful weekend
Mar. 22nd, 2004 09:25 amFor the first time in what seems like forever, we had a purely vegetative weekend. All episodes of leaving the house were purely incidental (i.e. for food, to acquire more entertainment, or to buy pants).
As a result, I've caught up on most of the Gilmore Girls and Angel episodes I'd read on TWOP at the beginning of the season (we have no WB, thus are dependent of others for the silly teevee). I also finally took care of a bunch of stuff related to the WHB site (this - cause if you're going to recode a cite in CSS, you might as well make it flourescent - and the installation of the stuff to make threaded LJ-style comments work on my various sites). Basically, it was a bunch of kinda boring technical production shit that took hours and hours and hours (or at least seemed to). Stuff I would never had done and certainly never been excited about if I weren't already committed to watching several hours of television.
I also started work on a new necklace for someone at work, finished a couple of books, started a couple of books, and did several crosswords.
I. Am. So. [Insert Annoying Valley Girl Insult Here].
[Edited to add - If anyone would like to explain to me how to anchor something at the bottom of a page (no matter how long the page) using CSS, I promise to be your best friend forever. Also edited to remove gratuitous use of word "lame"; don't say I don't listen to you folk.]
