Oh, that' gorgeous! I love painting furniture. If only I felt more free to do it often, without fear of losing my apartment deposit. I need to find a vacant lot somewhere that I can feel free to paint in and leave stuff overnight to dry in. As it is, I've painted my computer desk a lovely shiny purple, but the paint chips off from time to time and I've been filling in the chipped parts with a completely different kind of paint that doesn't match, just because the original paint only comes in spray-paint form and I haven't had any place where I could feel free to do any spray-painting.

Ooh, you should commit to painting a tiny new little art every time a piece of your desk chips! That would make for an interesting project over time.

I just use acrylic & a brush. And I have these mats on my bedroom & library floor that I paint on top of. I actually like the brush control & effect more than spray paint.
