obligatory friends list purge post

I ordinarily do friends-list purges without making any sort of announcement about them, but then someone asked, so I thought aha! perhaps the friends-list purge posts are actually a useful service after all! as they can at least tell people you weren't stirring up a big batch of Drama - ergo...

I have purged my friends list, something I probably should have done back in like July really, because I keep posting things on only an f-list filter that I really don't want to share with absolutely everyone. I'd prefer to keep doing that cause I'm lazy, but when you include people in your f-list you don't know all that well, sometimes everyone ends up saying the wrong thing & you don't feel safe when you'd like to.

So, um, yeah. It's not you, it's me. Or rather, it's not lack of interest in you, but my lack of understanding of you.
