"The Big Mo is Catching on!" - today's subject heading from John Edwards' list. As it's not explained at any point in the email, I can only conclude that "Big Mo" is used here as I've seen it used as a slang term - namely one very, very "homosexual" man (that is, gay and effeminite).

Yep, apparently John Edwards is a big mo. Wonder if that means he's going to start working a gay-friendly agenda. Ha!

Seriously, though, WTF? Is it a typo, or some freakish nickname for something/one?

I haven't seen the whole message, but "big mo" usually means momentum. Edwards may have a gay-friendly agenda, or maybe not, but "big mo" has nothing to do with it.

Silly, I know that he wasn't referencing what's usually considered a derogatory term for gayness (um, that wouldn't do much to advance a gay-friendly agenda, would it?).

But thanks for the "momentum" thing.
