I knew a woman once who theorized that all women would expect a baby, and all men would expect beer. She also claimed to be a feminist while holding a variety of other less comical (but equally sweeping) stereotypical beliefs about gender.
For some reason I thought of her baby-in-a-bag question this morning.

But if we're in the UK I think it's a baby, because brown paper bags are hardly ever used over here and so somebody has clearly gone taken trouble to find a bag which won't suffocate the content. Actually, though, more likely to be kittens or puppies than a baby. So, yeah, rubbish or kittens.
