this is brilliant - although i have been indoctrinated by my amazing feminist medieval art history prof at my master's program and always call it the bayeux embroidery, cause its an embroidery not a tapestry :)

That is amazingly neat. I've often thought that the Bayeux Tapestry pictures would make for awesome illustrations in a book for kids, but this is tons better.
