The California gay marriage photos made me all weepy. Especially the ones of people who look totally ordinary, maybe even a little frumpy or dorky, who got married in unglamorous towns like El Cerrito.

I remember sobbing 4-5 years ago the last time this happened. I am against the idea of marriage on an institutional level, but it pulls at my heart strings to see the look in these peoples eyes, it's not the same as hetero's when they get married, it's almost magical. I don't know! thanks for sharing.

I can't fathom how anyone could be against that. Those pictures were all so beautiful; I especially loved the couples from Ohio and Tennessee. And I was excited to see the photo of George Takei and his husband! He's so awesome.
