This is Banana. One night several months ago I didn't have a clean water bottle, so I put a plastic cup of water on my windowsill to drink out of. She totally stole it.

Then, when it was empty, she meowed piteously at it. When I took it away to wash, she meowed piteously at the empty space. Now there is always a full glass of water on the windowsill.

Yeah, like you could resist. She's not only adorable drinking out of her cup like that, but she purrs LOUDLY whenever I fill the damned thing.

My other cat drinks out of the toilet like a dog. I don't even bother keeping a water dish filled anymore, since all they do with that is play in it and dump it into their food.

She's lovely! I love black cats. They're always so pretty.

I was looking at photos of this guy's cool apartment at some house porn site, and they included a pic of the homeowners kitty feeding spot. Next to the food bowl, instead of a water bowl, was a glass of water. I couldn't believe I'd never thought of that! All these years of my cats knocking glasses over trying to get the leftover bit on the bottom and all I had to do was just leave them out their own glass!

Someone needs to invent a water glass that will wobble but not fall over, just for cats. Why do they like sticking their heads in something so small when there's a perfectly good dish?

I love black cats, too. They seem more simply designed, like the swedish-modern of cats.

I think strays are the most loyal animals because they're just constantly happy that you gave them a home.

My cats won't drink from anything but a cup in the bathroom. They come running when they hear the water running in the sink and beg for a fresh glass, even if we gave them one five minutes ago.
