New Orleans AGAIN?! Well, that certainly puts things in perspective.

Also, we heard about McCain's VP choice while moving on Friday. Damn. That was an evil genius move right there - like, deliberately targeting yet simultaneously insulting Clinton's voters.

I don't think it had anything to do with the Hillary voters. I don't think they believe any liberal feminists are going to vote for McCain because he chose an ultra-conservative woman VP. He did it to appeal to Republican voters- many who are not so excited by him. But now, if they vote for him, they get to be the ones making history! And when they hear those comments about how Republicans are so uptight and conservative, they can point to the first female VP candidate- and they voted for her! A younger man would make him look old. Another old guy would just encourage a lot more of the "grumpy old men" jokes - but there are a lot of men who will be impressed every time they see him with an attractive, much younger woman. Plus, she's more conservative than him and the fundy's who don't like him might like her. They'll vote for him and pray to God he drops dead.

Man, I have to say, the idea of her as President scares the crap out of me. She sounds more right wing than W! Maybe McCain did the dems a favor. I think the shine's gone off Obama for a lot of folks since his FISA vote. Fear of a Palin Presidency might get some folks out to vote!

Oops!
