I've made a commitment to attempt to ask 50 people out on first dates. It's part of learning to have fun with the whole dating idea. Anyone tried speed dating locally? Is it worth the expense for the experience?

Ugh. You have no idea. I'm so terrified of that first-date thing that even just asking someone I'm fairly certain will say yes makes my heart race. I've been going back and forth with this one person for months now cause neither of us has ever made an actual date.

If I don't push past the fear, though, I'll never meet anyone who doesn't talk to me first. That seems like a waste of some perfectly lovely people.
