snowpocalypse photos!

I went out and cleared some walkways (until I realized that clearing the snow just exposed the ice... not so handy). And took pictures!


Next time I go out I'm putting on extra pants so I can make snow angels. And maybe some form of snow sculpture.

I put a little rock salt down after I cleared mine, and it kept it from getting icy. I felt like I dork since the snow usually melts pretty quickly around here, but I think the mail man appreciated it. He has to walk up a lot of snow covered steps in my neighborhood.

Out here it rained for hours, then dropped ice pellets for a couple of hours before the snow started. So the snow in places is over a layer of 1/2" thick ice. The sun will gradually wear it down enough that salt can make a difference, though.
