stuff in my house
Jan. 7th, 2011 07:17 pmThe assignment for Slice of Life this week is to take pictures at home, thinking about what matters most to you – both the things that matter, and the things that matter in photos about them. It’s like a matter inside a matter.
You might like to see some of my photos. I’ll probably post each week of the project on Picasa if you want to keep up there. Most of these didn’t make my “cut” of sharing them with the class, but I like them.
K’s lantana plant went crazy with flowers over the past few days. It’s gorgeous, and I understand when I see these in the morning why they’re his favorite.
This bottle chime doesn’t really have a story. It’s pretty. I’ve liked looking at it since I had a porch to put such things on.
Buddha here sits on this little plate my mom brought back from La Madalena many years ago. It has some dessicated grapes and a dried up rose on it, which makes it look like an offering of some sort.
Stella is poorly lit here, but she’s quite interesting, anyhow.
