I start an LJ so I can post comments on communities and other people's LJ's.

Then I come across "feminist" commentary so mindlessly misandrist that I'm blinded by annoyance at the stupidity. I can't form a coherent thought in argument against it. Grr. Argh.

Oh, cool! I didn't realize you kept a CavLec livejournal. Now I'm in good company - and feel like less of a bandwagon-jumping dork.

I mostly use it for the friends page and comments -- just as you want to. (LJ really ought to recognize this class of users, I think.)

But occasionally I just have to say something that I can't say on CavLec proper, so...
